The other night was my lovely friend Mian's 21st birthday!! She's basically the last one in our group of friends who needed to turn 21 lol so now no one will be left out when we go out! Anways, my dumb camera died before we got to the shin-dig. This shin-dig of course was located in D.C. where it's very easy to go from the really ritzy parts to the friggin G H E T T O in a matter of seconds. Of course we thought we knew where we were so we got out & started walking. People thought I was a hooker (the 5in wedges whoopsies) like 20 people were out in their yards doing lawn work at 11pm ... yeah we should have picked up on those subtle details. The point of the story is we ended up there safe, & now our little Mian can legally drink partayyyy!!!

for now on I'm calling these shoes the "hookers" haha

I'm a day late, but whatever that's nothing new lol. Monday after work at the restaurant we had a bowling party because we had the best overall scores for all the restaurants, basically because we rule! So here are some pictures! Just Another Manic Monday Oooooooh Oooooohh

So can I just say how much of a D O R K I am. Anyways last night I was working on my online homework (Boo) & of course I was like "let me check out my blog that way I can still look like I'm working on my paper but get to actually do something I like instead!" Yes so to my shock & my HAPPINESS I saw that I had 17 comments! Eeek that's the most I've ever received on a single post so I wanted to say thank you to all of you, your comments made me really happy! Yupp, sorry for the sporadic use of all of the CAPITALS. I'm excited for another reason.... my husband got into business school!!! Yayy congrats Babe :) so of course to celebrate we had a little impromptu lunch date at Mi Hacienda. Get ready for some pics ..

Ughhh the joys of being a female

Today has been less than perfect because my internal organs have decided to rage a war in my body. Pardon the dramatics, back to the good stuff my day has been filled with pumping my veins full of cranberry juice & water. So enough of this self pity, but unfortunately I look pretty rough today so no pictures so I'm gonna put up some summer inspiration pics! Hope you like <3

PS: My husband & I are taking a vacation to Europe next summer & I know it's a little early, but if anyone has been to France, England, Germany, Italy, or Greece I would LOVE to hear any suggestions about places to visit!!

Happy Father's Day!!

Although my Dad probably won't read this post, it is Father's Day & I LOVE my Padre!! My Dad is the most hard working, noble, kind, thoughtful, sweet, considerate, loving person I know. Seriously, I can't say enough about him except that I know that I am so lucky & blessed to have him as my Dad. He has always supported me in everything I've done & he's always willing to listen to me & my ramblings. Anyways, even though I won't get to spend today with him I just wanted to share a little post about him! I hope all of you can enjoy today & reminisce about fun memories you've had with your Dads!

This summer my philosophy for my wardrobe is easy, cool, & cute (well I try). I bought this green skirt at a thrift store a couple months ago & I hemmed it a couple inches with my sewing machine to make it a little more wearable (Yes Mom I'm using it). I never thought that this skirt would get as much wear as it has, but it's so freaking practical/wearable! You can wear it with T-shirts, tank tops, tube tops... you name it, it works! I wore it in Ohio while I was there out to dinner with my family, & I was lounging around the house in it today. My day was earth-shatteringly crazy jkjk sorry no need for sarcasm I literally spent the day sewing & chopping old T-shirts up, catching up on episodes of the Bachelorette, & I went to the gym!! (don't worry I'm as shocked as you are). Yupp, enough blabbering here's the pictures!

I'm sure you're all sick of hearing me talk about Ohio, but unfortunately that's not gonna stop me lol. While I was visiting home I got to hang out with my best friend Mika (also my maid of honor) for an entire day. It was so much fun we went to the pool. joked about stupid stuff we did when we were younger, & we went to Bar Louie for dinner. I'm sure all of you have that one friend who's just always been there, & I'm lucky enough to have Mika as mine. Here are a couple outfit shots of what I wore that night to dinner.
